Foam Design's Computer Numerical Control 5 Axis Router is used to mill parts to exacting specifications. We are able to take any drawing and convert the 2 dimensional image into a 3 dimensional reality by using the 5 Axis Router. The greatest benefit of the 5 Axis Router is the ability to mill cavities, conical shapes and curves that are not achievable using standard fabrication techniques. Water Jet
Foam Design's water-jet machines enable us to cut many types of foam with controlled accuracy. Precise tolerance cutting allows deep cross-sectional cuts without causing foam concavity that is normally associated with die cutting processes. Tube Former
We specialize in large foam tubes from 2- 8 inches in diameter and wall thickness of .125 to .70 inches. Our foam tubes are available in custom sizes and shapes; such as circles, ovals, or rectangles. Various colors are also available upon request. Laminator
Foam Design's laminating processes include flame, hot-air, adhesives, films, and mechanical systems. Each provides its own unique bonding characteristics suited to specific requirements, such as bonding carpet to a cross linked foam. Wire Saw
Foam Design utilizes CNC Wire Saw cutting technology for ultra high accuracy parts that cannot be fabricated any other way. Wire saw fabrication enables the cutting of up to 80 inches of foam at a time with minimal distortion across the 80 inches.
